New World Environmental Inc., performs comprehensive Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) in accordance with the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standards for Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, for real estate transactions, property development, zoning, bank financing, re-financing, and foreclosures, and other in-house proactive audit programs.
The purpose of the Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is to gather sufficient information to develop an independent professional opinion about the environmental condition of the property and to identify actual or potential environmental contamination which may impact the property value or effect claim to an “innocent land owner” exemption following acquisition.
Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
The purpose of a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment is to determine the specific contaminates, the extent of surface or subsurface migration, and any resulting environmental or health risks.
Our Phase II Site Assessments services include:
Sampling of soil, groundwater, air and building materials.
Field screening soil samples with portable gas chromatographs and organic vapor analyzers to accurately characterize the site and reduce the number of samples requiring analysis by a laboratory.
Performing geophysical surveys to define subsurface contaminant plumes and identify suitable locations for soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells.
