| This
class is a 40 hour course for persons
that have the resposibility for radiation
safety in their workplace, but may
have never served as the Radiation
Safety Officer. The course emphasizes
a variety of administrative and technical
issues that a radiation safety officer
has to address. |
| Prerequisites |
| We
assume that the course participants
already understand the basics about
radioactive decay, the operation of
a GM detector, etc. If you are new
to the field, we recommend that you
consider taking our Introduction to
Radiation Safety course first.
